Responsibilities
- Analyze general ledgers, prepare and post journal entries
- Manage all aspects of the daily banking operation
- Track capital expenditures for equipment and non-equipment spend, verify and transfer from construction in progress to fixed assets
- Prepare fixed asset related journal entries such as additions, disposals, sales and transfers
- Reconcile fixed asset subsidiaries ledger to general ledger and maintain fixed asset roll forward schedule
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations as needed
- Complete month-end closing procedure
- Research open accounting issues, recognize potential issues and resolve
- Verify for accuracy all property tax invoices from various taxing authorities
Qualifications
- CPA license required
- Accounting or Finance degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of fixed asset experience
- Real Asset Management fixed asset software experience preferred
- Prior experience as an Accounting Manager or similar level of responsibility in a supervisory position
- Proficiency in MRI version X software preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiar with Rent Payment and AvidXchange
