- Lead the effort is performing routine inspections and maintenance of commercial building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for M/E/P systems, and Fire, Life, Safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance in both office and flex spaces.
- Conduct and assign regular preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and costly repairs in this hybrid environment.
- Manage and respond to tenant service requests promptly and professionally, addressing the unique needs of office and flex tenants.
- Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance in these adaptable properties.
- Monitor building automation systems and make adjustments as necessary to maintain comfort and energy efficiency across various property configurations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventory.
- Provide leadership and training.
- Assist with leading and participate in the planning and execution of capital improvement projects designed for flexibility.
Qualifications:
High school diploma
Five+ years’ experience in a building maintenance under as strong Chief Engineer
Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety, in a diverse property environment.
Working knowledge of IMPAK or other work order system
Knowledge and compliance with all City codes, renewing permits, scheduling inspections
Experience reading and interpreting documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
