Provide property and financial accounting for the Houston office which is heavily involved in the industrial and commercial real estate markets. This role will ensure effective, real-time decision-making and reporting on day-to-day operations while working with our Property Management team to ensure the best practices of all finances. This role will capture all accounts receivables, payables, billbacks to the different projects, and cash receipts for the complex world of real estate accounting. This role will encompass regular accounting tasks and work with the deal makers to collect project recurring fees and closing projects. This role needs a well-rounded individual who can present well, has solid financial acumen, understands Yardi to ensure complete accounting control, and has a “can-do” attitude to support in many other capacities. Degree in Accounting and 2+ years of commercial property accounting experience and Yardi.
